JK’s in-ground UFH ™ is a revolutionair underfloor heating system with no build-up height. The topscreed is grooved using a specially designed and patented ‘JK floor grinder’. The JK floor grinder dustlessly creates grooves in the screed into which the heating pipes are laid into.
“Underfloor heating provides the fastest and cosiest warmth for every floor type.”
More and more people opt for underfloor heating systems because the benefits are very clear. Underfloor heating provides the most comfortable and uniform level of warmth. Also, underfloor heating systems (UFH) are categorized as Low Temperature Heating (LTH). This means that they can easily be combined with other heating systems already in place because of the low water flow temperature. As a result energy usage is lower and therefore the energy bill, as well!
Another desirable feature of JK in-ground UFH ™ is that it is more comfortable and energyefficient than traditional wet UFH systems, as the heating pipes are installed directly under the surface of the floor. This allows the floor temperature to rise much faster so the room temperature can be controlled more accurately than with traditional underfloor heating systems.
“JK in-ground UFH ™ Zero build-up is a very unique water underfloor heating system.”
This makes JK in-ground UFH ™ a very unique and desirable zero build-up water underfloor heating system, which can be installed into all renovation, refurbishment or change of use projects.
The JK floor grinder dustlessly creates grooves in the screed into which the heating pipes are inserted. Since the JK grinding method uses a specially constructed industrial diamond grinding disc it can be applied to 99% of all floor surfaces, making it unnecessary to remove or raise the existing screed floor constructions.
“Patented grinding machine, dustless, a tightly routed groove pattern into which the heating pipes are inserted.”
Furthermore, it is also possible to install the JK underfloor heating system into different floor levels , or suspended timer floor constructions where dry-construction panels such as gypsum boards are already in place.
